PHILIPSBURG THEATRES Is a locally owned and
managed movie theatre in Philipsburg. St. Maarten, N.A.
It is currently the only theatre in the vicinity of
Philipsburg. The theatre has been recently renovated
into a multi-function facility. With its warm
colors and red-mahogany wood-accents the theatre gives a
look from the early 1920's.
During the 5 month renovation, the theatre has leveled its floors making it a perfect spot for special events and conferences. With 80 loveseats and 40 single chairs, the theatre will give you the most comfortable movie experience you have ever had. With coffee-tables next to your seat you can bring your drink and snacks into the theatre. The bathrooms have been redone, with access doors from both theatres. and the concession area has been renovated into a theatre-cafe with all new equipment. Construction Pictures January 2005
